After a highly successful 2021 Season which was cut short due to Covid The Committee of the Thirroul Butchers is delighted to announce our coaching staff for the 2022 season as follows:
First Grade- Jarrod Costello
Second Grade- Aaron Beath
Under 18’s – Brent Grose
High Performance – Coach Ben Couchman
The club welcomes back 2019 premiership winning coach Brent Grose who will once again take the helm of our 18s in 2022, last years coach Ben Couchman will move into a high performance roll.
The club is hopeful of retaining most of the 1st grade team again for the 2022 season and discussions are on going with the likes of Josh Starling, Tim Grant, Damien Sironen and others. Like every season the committee will be tiring up our juniors as a priority to keep them at the club long term.
The Butchers were on top of the ladder when the Illawarra League had to bring the season to a premature halt due to COIVID and will be out to complete the unfinished business of this year.
We are currently working on a date for the AGM, membership packages and merchandise for next year so keep an eye out for that.
