The Thirroul Butchers are excited to announce the appointment of former NRL and Super League player Luke Swain as Captain Coach for the 2015 season. Swain brings a wealth of experience with playing stints at Penrith Panthers, Gold Coast Titans and English Club Salford City, French team Carcassonne as well as being part of the coaching staff with the Roosters recently. With so much top level league experience and only being 32 years of age, Swain is a huge gain for the Butchers. Swain will be assisted by Thirroul Butchers legends Jarrod Costello and Brett Jones with “Jacko”assisting first grade and “Homer” taking the reigns of the Reserve Grade team
The Butchers will begin pre season training on December 9 at Gibson Park.
Welcome Back to all current players as well all new players are more than welcome to come and have a run with the premiers!
Training will also be held on December 16th and 18th with a BBQ to follow on Thursday the 18th at Club Sponsor The Ryans Hotel
