The Butchers 2015 season launch was held at The Ryans Hotel on Saturday night. A big crowd of former and current players, wives and girlfriends, sponsors and supporters turned up for a great night.
New signings Luke Swain and Trent Waterhouse spoke about how they have settled in at the club and how much they are looking forward to getting into the competition rounds. The two former NRL stars have added size and experience to an already formidable side.
One of the highlights of the night was Thirroul Butchers Legend Barry Jackson being awarded Life Membership to the club. Barry is a long time sponsor, ex player and coach who has devoted countless hours to help develop the club, well deserved jacko!
Local junior and long haired lout Logan Cole raised over $3000 by shaving his longs locks off to raise money for the Leukaemia. An enormous effort Logan well done and thanks to everybody who donated. To donate click on the link
