Last weekend seen some of our young U18’s strap on the boots for the Illawarra South Coast Dragons in the Laurie Daily Cup (U18s competition) played at Collegians Sports Center.
The boys played The Central Coast Roosters who were the defending champions in the semi final which they won 18 to 12 and will now head into the Grand final against the North Coast Bulldogs this weekend on the Central Coast.
The game was a tight tussle between the teams with the scores locked at 12 a piece at the halftime break. The second half was no different with both teams displaying more tough defence, in the end it was the Dragons who prevailed with the only try of the half taking the win 18 to 12
Squad members include Ky Air, Neason Jha-Langley, Bryden Rutledge, Michael Mouawad and Riley Costello.
