The club continues to build its 2020 squad with the signing of Leigh Higgins from the South Sydney Rabbitohs Canterbury Cup.
Leigh returns to the club after a stint with Souths in 2019 where he was close to breaking through for his first grade debut with Wayne Bennetts teams. Higgins made 22 appearances for the bunnies Canterbury Cup side scoring 12 tries, 61 tackle breaks and 9 line breaks.
With his return in 2020 it will be the fourth time Leigh has played for the club, donning the white and blue in our premiership year of 2014. 2015 and also the 2018 season. Leigh will link up with his brother Blake who had a break out season with the club last year.
Higgins will add depth to last years squad in the outside backs and especially the fullback position and could possibly be up agains Blake for that number 1 jerseys.
